                                       NEWS RELEASE

The Community Reward Fund is offering a $1,000.00 reward for information resulting in 
the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in the shooting of two miniature 
horses in the Norris Peak Road area.  

Investigators with the Pennington County Sheriff's Office are investigating the shooting 
deaths of these animals.   The horses are believed to have been shot sometime between 
12:00 PM, November 2nd and 7:00 AM, November 3rd 2008. 

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call Investigator Jon Kirk, 
with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, at 394-6115.

Killing or injuring an animal of another is a class one misdemeanor, punishable with up 
to a year in jail and or a $2,000 fine.
