WSDJSC encourages contact with family through regular visits. Visitation is offered Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Visitation times are as listed below and family may call 394-2639 to verify housing classification. Detainees are limited to one 25-minute visit period per scheduled visiting day. A maximum of 2 visitors per detainee are permitted at any one visitation period.
Visitors must arrive 15 minutes prior to posted visitation time to complete administrative processing. A maximum of 12 detainees may have visitors during a 25-minute period. If more visitors arrive involving more than 12 detainees, additional 25 minute visitation periods will be scheduled immediately following a completed session. All adult visitors must have a picture ID
All Visitation for Detainees in the GENERAL POPULATION are Scheduled by Security Classification.

During the initial 30 days at the WSDJSC, only parents/legal guardians, spouse, and biological children will be allowed to visit during the scheduled visitation periods. If a detainee is not married and has a child, the detainee's parent/legal guardian will be authorized to escort the child during normal visitation times. A maximum of 2 visitors remains the rules at any one visitation period.
If a stay at the WSDJSC extends past 30 days, grandparents and/or siblings will be allowed to visit on Saturdays, with certain conditions:
Special visits must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance and will only be allowed at the times listed below, upon approval of a WSDJSC Supervisor, after determining a visitor is unable to attend regular visitation periods at WSDJSC. (Special visits are all NON-CONTACT VISITS and only 2 detainees receive special visits per day.)

All Special Management Detainee visits will be NON-CONTACT visits and will take place on Sundays between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm and Wednesdays between 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm. All visits must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance with a WSDJSC Supervisor. Duration of visits will be 25 minutes. Detainees on Disciplinary Detention are not eligible for visitation during sanction status.
