CCADP Friendship House

Level III.I - Low-Intensity Residential Treatment
 
The primary goal for this level of residential care is to provide chemically dependent adult males a safe, sober, supportive atmosphere during transition into the mainstream of life.
 
Program includes meals, shelter, individual/group counseling, family education, employment assistance, referrals for non-provided services, recreational activities, and transportation means.
 
The Friendship House offers AA/NA meetings on a weekly basis.
 

Groups Offered
Anger Management   -   Education on the anger process and application of techniques to cope.
Continued Care   -   Continued support following treatment completion.
Corrective Thinking   -   Focuses on how and why change is essential.
Early Recovery   -   Addresses early recovery needs regarding alcohol/drug abuse.
Family Education   -   Chemical Dependency education and support for clients and family members.
Grief Group   -   Addresses losses and lifestyle changes.
Life Skills   -   Education and support for responsible living.
Peer Group   -   Gain support by sharing life experiences.
Problem Solving   -   Explore choices, options and consequences for good decision-making.
Relapse Prevention   -   Learn to cope with relapse triggers, warning signs and high-risk situations.
Special Needs Topic   -   Individualized topics needed to enhance recovery.
