City/County Alcohol & Drug Programs offers a full continuum of chemical dependency treatment services to individuals afflicted with addiction and/or mental health problems. The agency believes in a “No Wrong Door” philosophy. Services provided include prevention, assessments, 12-hour DUI classes and corrective thinking classes, crisis intervention, early intervention, Social-setting Detox, outpatient/residential treatment, continued care groups, half-way house/transitional services, and long-term specialized methamphetamine/opiate treatment programming for adults. Our facility is accredited by S.D. Division of Alcohol & Drug Abuse.
Our staff uses a multi-disciplinary team approach. Staffing includes Medical Director, State Certified Chemical Dependency Counselors, Registered Nurses, Detox and Emergency Medical Technicians. Our staff can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide assistance regarding an admission or crisis situation. If there is a client need that our facility cannot address, a referral will be made to the appropriate resource within the community.
All treatment programming uses evidenced-based practices. Practices include but are not limited to Brief Solution-Focused, Cognitive/Behavioral, Matrix Model, Motivational Interviewing, Truthought Corrective Thinking, and the Twelve-Step Philosophy of Alcoholics Anonymous. Treatment plans are “client driven” and individualized. Client permission is requested to obtain personal data for the purpose of collecting measureable treatment outcomes.
Indigent funding is available through the Division of Alcohol & Drug Abuse for individuals meeting the WIC guidelines of 185% federal poverty level. A 10% discount will be granted to individuals paying 100% of total program costs in full prior to beginning of treatment. Payment plans are available upon request.
