Telephone Calls
Inmates are not allowed to receive in-coming telephone calls or messages.

During regular dayroom hours, inmates may use the cellblock collect phones. Each phone call is limited to 15 minutes to allow equal access to the phones by all inmates in that cellblock.

The Pennington County Jail has a specialized phone company to handle inmate phone accounts called PCS. Inmates are able to purchase phone minutes through the jail commissary to call out of the facility. Phone cards or minutes from different carriers are not compatible with the inmate phone system. Phones time can be prepaid to PCS by calling 1-888-288-9879.

If you have a block on your phone not placed by your phone company or the jail you will need to call PCS at 1-888-288-9879 to help you fix the problem.
