| Objective: Provide information on
parenting a child, from birth to twelve years of age, covering topics such as pregnancy, child development,
discipline, divorce, and child abuse. |

| Skills Acquired: The detainee will
have the opportunity to gain an understanding of child development, discipline, and different parenting
styles. They will be able to identify the parenting styles of their own parents. They will gain knowledge
of community resources available to assist families. |
